Information for Brazzeltag visitors

On our big action weekend, the Brazzeltag, not only the numerous participants get their money's worth, but we are also happy to welcome you as a visitor. The museum comes to life and countless vintage cars can be experienced up close. Young and old can join in on the activities on the programme.

Event date
The Brazzeltag always takes place on the second weekend in May.
Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Sunday, May 12, 2019 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Entrance fees
During the Brazzeltag (11th and 12th May 2019), the following entrance fees apply. The entrance fee includes a visit to the Brazzeltag including all show programmes, admission to the Technik Museum Speyer with all exhibition contents, and the Museum Wilhelmsbau.

Day Pass
Brazzeltag and Technik Museum Speyer (valid on 11. or 12. May 2019). The Day Pass can be purchased now at the museum ticket office or in the museums ONLINE-Shop. With this passes you can enter the Brazzeltag directly via the visitors entrances.

Members of the Museum Club get free entrance to the Brazzeltag. Upon presenting your membership card, you can directly enter through the visitor entrances. No tickets or wristbands will be issued.

 

2-Day-Wristband
With this "2-Day-Wristband" you can visit the Brazzeltag and the Technik Museum Speyer on both days (valid on 11. and 12. May 2019). The Wristband can be purchased now at the museum ticket office or in the museums ONLINE-Shop. With this Wristband you can enter the Brazzeltag directly via the visitors entrances.

Additional Information

  • ATTENTION: During the event, a sound level of more than 85 dB may occur. Please bring suitable hearing protection with you and in particular for your children. Ear plugs can also be purchased on site (from the museum ticket office or at various info points) at moderate prices.
  • Filming and photographing for private purposes is permitted in the museum and during the event without restrictions!
  • At the museum ticket office, in the restaurant, and in our souvenir shop we accept not only cash but also debit cards and all major credit cards. At the food and beverage stalls in the event area, usually only cash payment is accepted.
  • Due to the large number of visitors, there can sometimes be long queues. We apologise for any inconvenience.
  • Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the entire museum and event grounds. We ask that you leave your four-legged friends at home.
  • The regular parking areas at the Technik Museum Speyer are unfortunately not available during the Brazzeltag. Please use the surrounding parking facilities or travel by public transport. More information about this

Information for visitors with mobile restrictions

  • The complete event area of the Brazzeltag as well as most of the exhibition areas at the Technik Museum Speyer are wheelchair-accessible. Individual museum attractions, such as the Boeing 747, the rescue cruiser John T. Essberger, and the U9 submarine, are unfortunately not wheelchair-accessible.
  • Special sanitary facilities are available in Hangar 8 Restaurant and Space Hall.
  • On our main car park P1 (directly in front of the main entrance of the Technik Museum Speyer) there are enough parking spaces for the disabled. This car park can only be accessed with the relevant parking pass.
